What’s the secret of the protruding exterior design of B3BL?
That is hard to be found even in the high-rise buildings in big cities around the world.
The B3BL is in the middle of international business, trade, and Songdo, an eco-friendly city.
It is also near the lake and presents a magnificent view. So, Dong Il aimed to develop a mixed- use with excellent views and residential functions in line with the Songdo IBD development plan.

CONSIDERING FOR CANTILEVER
Verification of the cantilever was required to construct the planned protruding appearance. We reviewed the lightweight steel cantilever and RC cantilever and confirmed that both construction methods can implement the design's appearance protrusion when using 2M cantilever.
In addition to these technical elements, we applied the vertical upward curve of the eaves that can be experienced in Korean architecture to add depth to the face and emphasize the sense of change.
